After all of the dress up and diaper changing this morning, I took the kids out to the lake to play in the sand.  It was a bit rainy and overcast, but there are days when I just can’t stay inside- no matter how pregnant I feel.  So off we went and we had a blast.  The kids loved it and really wore themselves out.  Yay!

She's so girly- she wouldn't sit down in the sand.

They loved it! Look how dark it is outside!

This morning as I was checking my email, Amai yelled to me that Asher had taken his pajamas and diaper off and was running around naked.  So I said I would come put one on him in a minute, and then I heard a glorious sound.  She went into his room (unprompted), got a diaper out and had him lay down so she could put it on him herself!  I’m going to have to capitalize on this new found skill.

She's so proud

And then the next thing I heard was silence, and as any of you parents know, silence can mean a plethora of wonderful or horrible things but it is always worth exploring.  And this is what I found-  Amai had picked out an “outfit” for him to wear:

The danger of being a boy with a big sister!

And after I quickly changed his clothes, he went right back to his favorite things- trucks, trains, and cars.  So funny!  At least they aren’t fighting for the time being!

Back to his favorites: trucks, cars and trains.

Enjoy your day!
