Our little man likes to eat dirt and I thought this time it looked like he had facial hair. :) Time to shave, Ashe?
I’m going to be ten weeks this coming week and the morning/allday sickness hasn’t loosened its grip on me yet, but we are surviving. Yesterday, Aunt Patti sent a marvelous package to Amai. To say that it was a huge hit is an understatement- considering that Amai wanted to wear it all to bed. We had to explain in great detail how her wings would break if she slept in them. First thing this morning- before Chris and I even made it out to the living room, she had her costume back on and hasn’t taken it off since. Sorry about how dark the pictures are- I think I had my finger over the flash.

She wanted to wear this shirt to go with the new skirt. I wanted her to wear her t-shirt. I lost.
She was so happy! What a nice break in the midst of my first trimester. Thanks Aunt Patti! You know exactly what this little girl loves!

More frequent and clever postings will resume once I feel better…. Hang in there, you faithful few…
I’ve felt like crud lately. No energy, super tired, so gross in the stomach, and just really wishing I could hibernate for about 2 more months until this part passes. Thank God for Zofran, I just wish it would take away every symptom that goes along with the first trimester, not just the puking. All I can say is that I’m soooooooooo happy this is the last time I’ll ever be pregnant!!!! Yay!
7 weeks down, 30 something left to go. We can do this…
Last night in a conversation with Amai at bedtime:
Amai: “Mama, does it take a really long time to grow big and tall like you are?”
Me: “Yep, it sure does.”
A: “Well, I wish it didn’t take so long. I’d like to be big like you so we could be two big girls together.”
:)
