Well, it happened. I had a feeling that Disney would rot my little girl’s innocence. And so I was right for the time being.

When I picked her up from school yesterday, Amai’s teacher said, “Now don’t forget to talk with mommy about what our mouths are for, and how they aren’t for kissing.” What?! Yep, that’s right- our little Mai-Mai apparently chased Connor around the classroom and convinced him to kiss her on the lips. Connor’s got curly hair and blue eyes- she couldn’t resist his charm.
On the way home I asked her why she had kissed him and she actually sighed and said, “Because he’s my prince.” Note to self, limit fairy tale cartoons.

On a much sadder note, a friend of mine at church got a dreaded phone call yesterday morning and it turns out that her husband had a heart attack at work and passed away. She is showing such incredible strength in dealing with everything and I can only say that my heart aches for her oh so deeply. If you think of it, say a prayer for Amber Emery and her two boys, 3 and 1 years old. And go hug your loved ones…
