This morning while Chris was getting ready for work:
Amai: “Daddy, was I a boy when I was in mama’s belly?”
Chris: “No, you were always a girl.”
Amai: “Oh.”  Big pause.  “Were you in mama’s belly?”
Chris: “No, she’s not my mama.  Do you remember who my mama is?”
Amai: laughing “Nanny.”
Amai: “So you don’t belong here?”

This morning as I was checking my email, Amai yelled to me that Asher had taken his pajamas and diaper off and was running around naked.  So I said I would come put one on him in a minute, and then I heard a glorious sound.  She went into his room (unprompted), got a diaper [...]
