Tooth!!!

We went to the dentist this morning...

And they gave Asher...

His new tooth!!!

If 2009 was the year of huge medical expenses, 2010 is shaping up to be the year of expensive teeth.

Ashe had molds made for this tooth about a month ago and since we had money in our HSA I thought- sure, why not go for it?  And then I went to the dentist the following week and found out I have to have a root canal and crown done on one of my front left teeth.  Can you guess how much it will cost?  Drum roll please….

$2000!!!!

No, our dental insurance doesn’t cover a cent of it.  Joy!

I’m focusing on this happy little tooth for Asher.  I would go into why we had it replaced- his teeth are all shifting, it affects his bite, etc.  But instead I’ll just say that I love seeing his smile intact again.  Yay!
