Career…

I occasionally ask my kids what they want to be when they grow up because I like the window into their heart it gives me.  The answer is, of course, different every time I ask.  Last night this is how the conversation went with Amai.

Me:  What would you like to be when you grow up?

Amai:  Oh, mommy, I already know what I’m going to be.

Me:  Really?  What?

A:  I’m going to be a real princess!

Me:  (giggling) Really?  What else do you think you might be?

A:  Well, then I’ll eventually be the queen.

Too cute…

  1. Love that! Made me laugh out loud. We have similar conversations at our house. Connor’s answers generally revolve around science — inventor, dinosaur hunter, whatever kind of scientist Indiana Jones is (his words — not mine). ;-)

  2. Ha Ha! That is too cute. Kids are so funny. Hey, BTW, you didn’t tell us 3 kids was going to be so tiring! :)

  3. Awesome! Love it! At least Amai has her priorities straight, and knows the responsibilities of a princess.
