Today I found myself at “Fiesta.”   I was trying to find one last ingredient for my dinner co-op meals and this was my last attempt.  It was interesting!  I don’t know that I’ve ever felt so white in my life.

Chris is getting the texture on the walls in the kitchen done this weekend.  It’s been such a long, labor-intensive task.  This is the second time we’ve re-done the texture.  The first attempt was to correct what the previous owners had done.  This second attempt is to finalize the first improvement we made.  Then we will be on to picking out fabric for the window treatments and selecting a paint color.  Did I say “we?”  I meant me.

He got to rent a big power sander/vaccuum.

This worked so well and saved Chris a ton of effort.

So happy it worked!

All in all, it’s shaping up to be a very productive weekend.  I’m beyond words with excitement that our kitchen may finally be close to a stopping point.  Seriously.
