Today was Amai’s first day at her new Mother’s Day Out.  She was so excited this morning, and almost everything went off without a hitch.

This is her new shirt.  And I know that within a few hours it will probably have marker or glitter or some other preschool craft material on it.  Oh well- she looks so cute and was so excited to wear her new shirt!

Once we got there, she wanted to run around the parking lot before going inside.  Don’t mind us, we’re just a little excited about our new school!

She was so focused on getting all her stuff put away that she didn’t even hear the teacher say hello, or us trying to say goodbye.  We thought she wouldn’t even come out to give us a hug either- but after a few seconds of disappearing, she ran out and said a quick goodbye.  No clinging to the leg, no crying, no pouting- none of the behaviors that were exhibited daily at her old school.  I think this year is going to be so much better.  I love this school already!

Now I’m off to play with my boy…
