Today was the last day of Vacation Bible School for Amai.  She had fun once she was there each day, but getting her into the classroom is hard if everyone else is already there.  If she’s one of the first to arrive, then she has no problem- but that doesn’t happen all that often.

This morning, they had a program for all the kids to sing the songs they learned this week.  It was cute, but Amai was having a hard time letting go of me and stood there pouting on stage instead of singing.  I’m thinking that she is a lot more intimidated by being in front of other people than I give her credit for.  She did so much better than last fall at her MDO program, maybe by next year she’ll sing with everyone else.

I still just can’t believe she is old enough to be in Vacation Bible School.  Wow!
