Amai is so funny. She’s at this stage where she’s been noticing all sorts of differences between males and females. All sorts. So last night Chris’s sister and family were in town and we all went out to eat to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday. After a length debate between the kids about who rides with whom, I took Amai and our nephew Garrett in my car on the way to the restaurant.

Once we got into the car, Garrett asked me what kind of car it is. I told him and then there was quite a bit of silence for a while. Then Amai says, “Soooo, I think Asher has a penis, and I have a Honda.” I laughed so hard- I almost couldn’t stop, and Garrett kept asking why I was laughing so hard. Kids are so funny.

This weekend was great. Not only did we see Chris’s family, we also saw some of our friends and their daughter Eisley. Garrett and Amai attempted sleeping in the same room, and apart from some nightmares for Mai-Mai which kept her up for an hour and a half (!!!) they did pretty well. It was just so great to see everyone. Here’s some pics from the weekend.
